Italian Chicken and Swiss Sandwiches

These Italian Chicken and Swiss Sandwiches are yummy and easy to prepare. Serve them with a side of your favorite potato salad and some fresh fruit. They will fill you up and clean up is a breeze!

Italian Chicken and Swiss Sandwiches

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into bite sized pieces
2 envelopes Italian dressing seasoning mix.

Marinate the chicken in the Italian dressing seasoning mix for an hour

1 green pepper, sliced into strips
1 onion sliced into rings
fresh mushrooms sliced
Swiss cheese slices

Saute peppers, onions and mushrooms in 2 tbls. olive or canola oil to your desired doneness. Remove from pan and add chicken to hot pan and cook until done. Add the veggies back in. Slice hoagie buns almost all the way through. On one side of the bun place the chicken and veggies. Put under broiler until the bun starts to brown. Add cheese to the opposite side of the chicken. Place under broiler until the cheese melts. Enjoy while hot!
